The 3 time reigning national champions. Team unchanged in a year full of change over. Expect her in top 2 finish in a pool full of rookies.

Rachel Homan is back, but won't be skipping this year. Expect her to struggle early then make the playoffs.

Jennifer Jones is skipping last year's young Manitoba team, and won the curling bracket last year. A good pick to win.

Kaitlyn Lawes has taken over Jennifer Jones' old team. Expect a top 2 finish.

A rookie team that is hard to place. Could be between 4th and 6th in Pool A.

This team has been to the Scotties twice and got 5th both times. Expect the same again.

Another young team from Manitoba. Probably between 4th and 7th.

A surprise team at the Scotties last year, qualifying for the playoffs. They could be able to do it again in the weaker Pool A.

Another rookie team on the bubble in Pool A. Between 3rd and 6th.

A surprise team to make it to the playoffs last year. I don't see it this year. 4th to 6th in Pool B

Could be a tough year in tough pool. 6th to 8th

Between 5th and 8th in Pool A

This team is seeded way too low. Formed right before Provincial's, they are contenders to win. Between 3rd and 5th in easier Pool A.

Should beat Yukon. 8th in Pool B

This team was a runner up last year, and should make the playoffs, but I don't see winning. 3rd to 6th in Pool B
